Andris Mészáros

Name:  Mészáros András   (email: ameszaros@eletszava.org)
Born:    June 13, 1979 in Miskolc, Hungary

Family:

My wife's name is Anouska. We met at the Bible School here in Tóalmás and recently married in June 2003. Anouska now works as the Director of Admissions and the Hungarian Language Teacher in the Bible School.

Testimony:

I was born the sixth of seven children into a Christian family. I always believed in the existence of God, but did not accept Him as my Savior until I was 16. Until that time, I lived a double life, with one foot in the world and one foot in the Church.
One night I heard a sermon from Revelation 3 and the speaker explained that God does not want us to be luke-warm in our faith but to be on fire for God. I realized that what I was doing was wrong and I asked God to forgive me and help me live my life completely for Him.
From then my life changed and I grew in my relationship with God. Once I left High School I decided to go to the WOL Bible School to learn more about God and His Word, to be better equipped to serve Him.
I graduated from the Bible School in August 2001 and immediately began my Civil Service (compulsory for all male Hungarian citizens) with WOL. Since September 2002, I have been working full-time as a missionary here.
